Sicily – Arab Norman Itinerary

The iHeritage project is developed in the Arab-Norman sites of Sicily and Villa Romana del Casale of Piazza Armerina, through different immersive applications: in the monumental site one can enjoy the contents of virtual tours, accessible both On Line before the visit and On Site, with VR viewers.  The monument is presented with a virtual tour, with interactive 360-degree area views. From the aerial view, one lands at individual points of interest and explores the archaeological contexts with in-depth content.  Thanks to archaeological reconstructions, the tour in Sicily becomes a journey through time, where holograms will be reproducing artistic and architectural artifacts and monuments, creating a virtual museum experience.
